STRAL at Euroluce 2025:
a reflection on the impact of the flow of time

Reflections of Time is the theme with which STRAL presented itself at Euroluce.

A concept that not only expresses the company's approach to lighting, but also becomes a visual dialogue between light, design and nature.

The exhibition space, designed by Alessandro Zambelli Studio, who curates the art direction for STRAL, was conceived to evoke the concept of the flow of time, through an original and suggestive layout. A wrinkled poster-effect wallpaper forms the backdrop, symbolising the unstoppable flow of time and the impact it has on our lives. This irregular texture recalls experiences and memories, making the temporal dimension that characterises our existence palpable.

In the middle of this space, the ‘Reflections of Time’ manifesto captures the attention of visitors as the focal point of the entire space. Here, evocative words narrate the company's philosophy: light as the protagonist in marking the flow of time, its ability to transform environments and reflect the choices we are called upon to make every day as human beings and consumers.

The presented manifesto is a synthesis of the work developed in the last few years. Each STRAL luminaire represents a modern sculpture, a piece of design that goes beyond mere functionality. Stainless steel, a distinctive element of STRAL's production and a symbol of resilience and quality, is combined with the concept of nature and beauty, reflecting light in a unique and original way.

For its production, STRAL chose to create luminaires that could respect the environment with the use of advanced technologies and without the continuous extraction of new resources thanks to the use of a highly recyclable material.

That is why, as the manifesto on the stand states: ‘In every bend there is the precision of design, but also the ability to adapt, to integrate perfectly with the changing world.

Our luminaires are more than just objects: they are reflections of time, modern sculptures that capture the essence of the inevitable passing of the years without ever losing their beauty’.

In the exhibition, central importance was given to the new collection luminaires, in particular BULTJIE, UBICA, VLAK and BAJA. ‘For the design of these luminaires, we worked above all on the lighting performance thanks to an important search for new custom optics and continuous experimentation in the construction of the stainless-steel bodies,’ said Alessandro Zambelli, designer and Art Director of the brand.

The communication was accompanied by photographic images created in collaboration with the photographer Mattia Maestri Castellini, recalling an abstract and surreal concept, where time loses all its usual connotations and light becomes central to the story.

STRAL's presence at Euroluce is an invitation to reflect on time and light, elements that define not only our spaces, but also our lives. With its installation, STRAL wants to convey a message of beauty, sustainability and connection to the environment.
